War Draft Coming Soon?

As I was signing up for my government financial aid the other day, I noticed that they now require you to sign up for the Selective Service. It is now MANDATORY to sign up for the SS so you can get financial aid. So as of today I am now part of the Selective Service! I am part of something I never wanted to be part of. I'm a pawn for the government's greater agenda- their dirty work.

Why do I have to go to war when all of these supposed 'freedom loving', 'terrorist-fighting', 'money stealing', 'corrupt' politicians get to stay in their comfy offices and tell everyone else what and what not to do as thousands of young Americans die in fake wars? It just doesn't seem right to me.

But lately the government has been pushing the enrollment of the Selective Service. If you don't sign up for it then you can't work, you can't get money for school, and you can probably go to jail. IT'S THE LAW! The thing I hate the most though is that although we hate all of these laws, we continue to abide by them and continue to let them be. Why do we let something that we don't like be? Is it because they tell us we have to abide by it? Are we afraid of the government? Is it the right thing to do? Maybe we just can't think for ourselves. Maybe we're just too stupid! One thing I know for sure though is that I CAN THINK FOR MYSELF AND I AM NOT STUPID! And it's time that everyone started to think for themselves and open their eyes!

With so much advertising and consequences behind this program, it almost seems too clear to say that a war draft is coming soon. Volunteer enrollment has decreased since the 70's and the government feels like it's time to make it mandatory for people to join the military. Why else would they push the citizens of the country to join the military if they weren't planning some kind of war? Why would we need a military if there is no plan for war? There really is no other answer besides the idea that a war draft is coming very soon! I've been hearing a lot of rumors about a possible war with Iran and the pushing of the SS seems too coincidental. Maybe you believe in coincidence, but I don't. Everything happens for a reason and this most likely means that there is a draft coming soon. Let me know what you think about this matter in the comments.

The Battle Against Ignorance (Boycotting BP)

They say ignorance is a bliss, but how can someone live blissfully in the dark? how can you live without knowing the truth?

It's sad how we live in a time where everything is kept from us. And even when there is information out there, some of us, more like most of us, fail to recognize it. It just bothers me how people can just continue to live their lives blindly and ignorantly as if nothing's happening in our world. People act like if they're the only ones with problems and just suck themselves into their own dreadful lives. We need to wake up and stop being ignorant! Not only that, but we must act on the information that we uncover. We must choose a side and we must act for it.

For example, BP Oil Company is responsible for the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. We all hate that it happened, or so we say we do, and we're supposedly mad at BP, but we don't do anything about it. I still see people buying BP oil, which is Arco, just in case you didn't know, and there are still ignorant people out there who don't even know who spilled the oil in the first place! Take my mom for example, I asked her about the spill and she didn't even know who BP was! She was still buying Arco! Yea I know some of us aren't rich and people are low on money and blah blah blah whatever and Arco is the cheapest gas out there, but if we really care about our planet and tragic oil spills and all that other stuff, we must punish those who cause the damage. A public apology is not enough, especially from these corporate villains. For all we know, this spill was staged. I'm not gonna talk about that yet, but I'm just throwing that out there. But it's time we punished these criminals and stop buying their products! We need to have principals and we need to have justice! One way we can hurt these guys is by boycotting their product, the gas. Stop buying gas from BP and Arco! I don't buy from them, and you shouldn't either, unless you support the oil spill (asshole).

That's all I have on BP for now. I'll end this post with a picture that represents my commitment to boycotting BP. Peace.

Bike Ride to KO

Last night I went to an old high school friend of mine's party and I went home at around 5:30 am. Once I got home my mom woke up and told us to get ready to leave to go to the bike ride. I was getting ready to knockout but I figured since I wanted to go riding I might as well stay up. So I stayed up and we went riding. We started somewhere in Whittier and finished somewhere in Seal Beach. I decided to test my time and I got there first from all of the people that came with us with a time of 70 minutes. I think I did pretty well for riding about 25 miles on a heavy ass ten speed road bike, with so much wind and no proper gear. I wish I had some of those tights and one of those cool helmets, then I'd really be zoomin'.

So once everyone finished, I went to my mom's car and we both left. I was way too tired to go to the beach with the rest of our peeps so I went home. We got home at around 1 pm. I took a shower and I knocked out! I woke up 7 hours later only to find myself in a dark room, alone, with my little bunny near my feet, staring at me with her guilty eyes for peeing on the bed near my feet. It's kind of a weird situation to wake up to.

Even though I slept really well, especially since I hadn't slept in almost 24 hours, I feel like I wasted my time. If I wasn't so lazy I could've been at the beach enjoying myself and some company with friends at a nice, warm bonfire. That's what I get for being lazy. I gotta stop.

Well that was my day. It was pretty fun at first, then it just sort of died down. I guess the moral of the story is, don't be lazy. Oh well, maybe next year. Here's a picture of my road bike. I just bought the front purple tire to match with the rear one. What do you guys think? Pretty nice eh? Leave me a comment and let me know what you think about my bike, or anything else. Show me some love!

Stuck In Dream Land

As I took a nice, hot, steamy shower this night, I thought about how I live in my head and most of the time I'm stuck in 'Dream Land'. I'm not sure if this happens to you, but when I think about something, I visualize how whatever it is I'm thinking about can come about and how it could be. I guess you can call it day dreaming. It's not a bad thing to visualize something and plan it out, and to visualize positive outcomes, but I think sometimes I go over to the point where all it is is a visualization. All I am doing is visualizing. I'm just dreaming. And I think since I dream too much I'm not getting anything done. Now, again, I'm not saying dreaming is bad, on the contrary dreaming is good. Dream big! Don't let anyone tell you you can't do anything. But as I was saying, if you dream too much, you might get stuck in 'Dream Land'.

I'm tired of just dreaming and planning everything out! I need to go do it! I feel like dreaming too much takes too much time away from actually doing what I want to do. Sometimes I also wonder if by planning everything too carefully if I'm subconsciously setting myself up for failure. If I plan too much am I somehow letting doubt come in my way? Sometimes it feels that way. Well if by not planning and just doing, will that prevent doubt from entering? It sure sounds like the perfect idea, and when I act without a plan and just do what I want to do, everything comes out right. Kinda of like when a guy tries to be perfect with a girl and tries to recite lines and do all of these pre-planned maneuvers which just end up screwing it up for him. He should've just been himself and listened to his mother.

I think that if you as a person have good intentions, everything you do should be good. So if everything you do should be good, then there should be no need to plan anything out at all because everything you do will be good.

If you're all good, then everything you do's all good. Hope everything's good with ya.

Government Trying to Monitor Us

The End of the Internet

Don't you just love how we have access to so much information on the internet. How we can easily go online and read about anything, whether it be controversy, gossip or just plain stupidity. The internet has always been free from control and censorship and pretty soon that will all be history.

Last year a bill was passed that will allow the government to take over the internet at any given situation. The bill is called "The Cybersecurity Act of 2009" and it's supported by Jay Rockefeller and your very own President Barrack Obama. Barrack Obama is seeking sweeping new powers that will allow him to "shut down" the internet in the event of a "cybersecurity emergency"- a vague term that the President can define at his own discretion. And this bill does exactly that. If Obama doesn't like what he sees online, he can easily have it removed. Just like what happened with American protesters who were sent to jail for expressing their beliefs and making use of their first amendment rights. And if people start to wonder why this happened, the government easily classifies them as 'terrorists', and the media is the perfect outlet. You see, it's no different than what happened in Hitler's Germany or even Mussolini's Italy. The government is stripping its citizens from their rights and we are doing nothing about it!

And if this "Internet Takeover Bill" passes, the government can easily stage an emergency and shut down the internet to keep us in the dark. It's kind of like how the 911 Attacks that were performed in order to get the Patriot Act to pass in order to keep us "secure". So to keep us safe, from some non-existent terrorist force, that is actually our very own government, the government passes laws that steal our rights in order to control us. And we just as easily let it happen.

Let's not let Obama take any more of our rights. It's we wake up and see what's really happening. The government is not our friend and it's time we stopped treating it like it. I urge you to sign this petition to stop the Internet Takeover Bill from passing. We need to let our senators know that we don't like what's going on and that we need their help. So please click here to sign the petition.

After you sign the petition, check out Campaign For Liberty and sign up to receive information about what's happening in our nation and to learn how you can help. It's free and there's a lot of really good information that will change your perspective about our country.

Victorious Perserverance

I walked out of class today with such a good feeling and a big smile on my face. I normally don't give a shit about school, but I received my project back today and I got a really good grade! I got an A on my design project at UCLA and it feels pretty good! After putting effort into this and getting the results I wanted I feel like I accomplished something. Sure, it's still school, or University, which is like 50 times harder than high school, this accomplishment still counts for something. Even when I failed my midterm, I kept going and in the long run it paid off. After that midterm I felt like giving up. But I'm not a quitter and I kept going and I won.

Even when you think you can't go anymore, or when you thiink it's over, keep going. Keep on runnin, try your best, and it will pay off.

One love,
Josan

You Didn't Try Hard Enough

As the bus came to a stop, I noticed a lady across the street who wanted to ride the bus I was on. She waved to the bus driver, hoping that he would see her and wait for her to cross the street and let her hop in the bus. She waved a couple more times but there was still no response from the bus driver. As pedestrians were released from the bus, the lady continued to stand in her corner across the street, hoping that the bus driver would wait for her and acknowledge her waves. He never did and the bus left. As we left, I saw the lady's disappoinment as she murmured rude words to herself, something along the lines of jerk. As if it was his fault that she didn't get her ride. She's not special. She doesn't get special service.

Why didn't she run across the street to catch the bus? Sure the light was red and the little orange hand told her to stop, but there was a gap of time where no cars passed through the intersection. She could've easily ran and hopped on the bus and she would've made it to work or where ever else she needed to be on time. But instead she continued to wave to the bus driver, waiting for his acknowledgement, that she never received. She just didn't try hard enough. She's gonna tell her friends at lunch today how the asshole bus driver didn't let her on the bus and talk shit about him all day, and whine about her life, when it was her fault. She didn't put enough effort and she didn't make it.

Sounds like a crazy story but this is a small example of how we just don't try hard enough in everything that we do and we don't get the outcomes that we want. We wait for others to do it for us and then when it doesn't come out right we blame everyone else but ourselves. It's time we try hard and succeed in everything that we want to do.

Charge Me For Help?

I just got off the phone with a technical support representative for Cisco, which are the guys that sell those Linksys products. I bought one of those little, cheap USB wireless devices at Target for around $29.99 last year, and I still haven't got it to work. I called them today to try to get help on making it work, but these people have the audacity to charge me for their help. She told me my technical support had expired and that I needed to pay $29.99 for her help. I thought to myself, really, is she really charging me this much to get my USB adapter runnin'? So I asked her if she was really charging me $29.99 for her to help me, and she said yes. So I told her, "You're charging me what I paid for this device to get it working. I'm gonna have to pass." I wanted to tell that lady off so badly, that's why I quickly got off the phone. I was so pissed off.

I don't know if any of you guys own any Cisco Linksys products, but I suggest that you don't buy em. I know I won't buy any of those products anymore. They're poor in quality, defective and their customer service sucks. I hate you Cisco.

Individualism

As I sat on the train this morning, looking around at the different people that rode the same train, I thought, every single person on this train looks very different from one another. Every person has their own clothing style, hair style, and every other style you can think of. They all want to be their own person. Nobody wants to be, or look, like anybody else, yet they immitate their favorite celebrities, which is where all the trends come from anyway. It's pretty contradictory.

But that's not the point I'm trying to make here. The point is that everybody tries so hard to be different, when we have so many more things in common. We're all people. We all have fragile bodies with body parts and functioning organ systems. We all have feelings. We all have thoughts, yet we use the most miniscule differences and try to use them to fully differentiate from each other. We have so much pride and arrogance for trying to be different that we get lost in it. It's almost as we think we are something else, like we're not human, and we're superior to everyone else around us, yet we are basically the same. We are all people.

I feel like this whole sense of individualism was set up to make it easier for Big Brother to control us. There are evil forces out here that are working on controlling our every move. Sounds crazy, don't believe me, but it's true and I urge you to do your own research. By pushing individualism so hard on the people, as it is now, it makes it easier for these forces to take control. It's easier to capture one person at a time than a multitude.

Now, I'm not saying that people shouldn't be individuals and that people shouldn't be different, because that would be really boring and I would hate to see everyone dressed the same or acting the same way. What I'm saying is that we shouldn't let individualism pull mankind apart. We should help each other and move forward towards a better future; not as individuals, but as people.

So next time you see someone completly different from you on the streets, don't judge, but smile and remember that they aren't much different from you.

Technology Is Separating Us

As I rode the bus today back home from school, I noticed that most of the people on the bus were listening to some music through some sort of MP3 device. I own an iPod myself and I like to listen to music on my 2 hour commute to school as well. But as much as I love listening to my iPod and as much as those other people like to listen to their MP3 player on the bus, I thought about how well these devices have been at keeping us distracted and ignorant from what is really going on in the world. It's amazing how every single person is in their own world when everyone is just inches from each other. They're so close to each other yet they act like no one else exists. I also thought how smart the big guys with the big agendas are by keeping us distracted and ignorant, by using a tool as simple as an iPod to keep us separated. They know that if they keep us separated we cannot rally against their plans. They can control us when we are separate. There is strength in numbers and they know that if we wake up, we could easily overthrow them and halt their agenda. I may sound like some crazy conspiracy theorist right now, but the truth is there are dark forces behind the scenes that are operating to take full control of our lives. It started with the 911 attacks, which led to the Patriot Act, and many more, but I'll save that for later. These people are so smart that they know how to develop their plans right under our noses, and we're so distracted that we don't even see it! If you don't believe me, see for yourself. The next time you ride the bus or the train, observe the people. You'll see for yourself how everyone is in their own world and not caring about anything else or anyone else. Sure we all have our own problems, our own lives, jobs to work, kids to feed and such, but we should start paying more attention to the world around us. There is more to our lives than we know. We don't live in a simple world. Nothing is always what it seems. But this isn't just about being aware of political agendas, but it's also about being a better person and being a better human being for the world. It's sad how we are all in our own worlds and we miss many opportunities to interact with other people like us. We are all the same and we should try to create a better communion between us. Imagine how much better our world would be if everyone was more social and more interactive and everyone was friends with everyone else and no one was alone. Sounds like a nice place to me. Don't let these new technologies keep you distracted from what's really going on. Don't stay stuck in your world. Come out of your shell and see the truth. Once we can unite as human beings, we will be able to live peaceful, meaningful lives. One Love, Josan Iracheta

Must Be Nice Being Young

One thing I like about my life is that almost everyday I encounter at least one weird interaction with a random stranger. It makes my life interesting and funny. Since I'm out on the streets a lot, whether it be commuting or just kickin it, it's not rare to have some weirdo come up to me and tell me something. But I'm weird and I like it and I find it rather amusing.

But today as I was in the car with my friend, an older man, I'd say in his 50's, pulled up next to us. We had the music on really loud and I paid no attention to him. I was busy staring at his car when suddenly he said to me, " It must be nice being young." I looked at him and politely responded, "Nice ride."

It really made me think about how well I have it and how well we have it. I'm young and I'm healthy and I should be living my life to the fullest. Sometimes I find myself worrying about stupid shit like school or money, but I shouldn't worry because I'm young. I have enough time later on to worry about stuff like that. I'm young now and if I waste my youth, I'll never get it back. I can only imagine what that guy would do to get his youth back.

So next time I worry about school or loans or homework or whatever, I'll just remind myself about my youth. We should all stop worrying and stop trying to be mature adults and just be youthful people, full of life and having fun. You only live once.

The Return of the Jedi

It's been long since I've written on this blog. I could never find anything to write about. Sure this blog is about me, but I didn't want to be like everyone else and just write about some stupid hyped up bullshit.

Ever since I returned to the motherland in the beautiful city of Los Angeles, back from my endeavors at UCSB, I have seen the world a little differently. Hopefully others have noticed, but I can say that I am a different person, and for the better. I feel like I have matured and evolved into what God wants me to be and what I will become. I don't know if you believe in God or not, but I do and I know that God has a plan for me and I am witness to my own transformation. God has a plan for all of us, we just have to let him work.

But I'm not here to talk to you about God or religion. On a side note, I am not a religious person, but I am merely a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. You may call that Christian, but if I say Christian everyone will confuse me with all of the other non-believers and I don't want to be part of that.

Now that I'm back in LA, I feel stronger and better in everything that I do, whether it be in my music or the way I treat others. I certainly have much more appreciation for new things and for people. Not just the sexy glamorous people that are all over the magazines and television, they look good too, but I can see the beauty in all now and it feels really good.

I'm really excited to be back with my family and being apart from them made me realize how important they are to me. And now that I can appreciate my family more, I feel bad at those who don't appreciate what they have and take everything for granted. It usually takes something tragic for those people to realize what they had was good, and I'm not trying to curse anyone here and I hope it never happens to anyone. I just wish that they will realize that what they have is good and that they can appreciate it.

I'm also really excited to be with my brother, whom is my musical partner and has been since we were kids. We are both much older now and much wiser and more talented musically and it shows in our performance. I have started a project with him, I am writing most of the material on the guitar and he is my drummer. We just started this Monday and it has been a really exciting week. And just in case you're wondering what kind of music we play, we play Heavy Metal ;). And if you don't like metal, then you should really give it a chance. Like that saying goes, You only like what you know. So get to know metal and I guarantee you will like it. Trust.

Besides the music, I'm attending UCLA for the summer taking a Music class and an Art class. I really like these classes because they kind of seem to cohere. I can really relate what I learn in each class and I like it, a lot! I know I'm going to learn a lot and I'm really excited to learn it all and start using it already! I feel like I'm saying excited a lot. Whatever. In fact, the new picture I have up is from my art class. The artist is Vladimir Klimt. He's a really great artist and you should check out his work. Fan or no fan of art you'll like it.

That's pretty much all I have for now. It's only been a week and I can say that this summer will top last year's summer. One thing I try to do every year is top every consecutive summer. And so far it's been happening. I hope you guys like what I have to say and I hope I can really connect with my readers. Feel free to leave comments.

One Love. Peace.
Josan
