My previous post was just me rambling about how cops are not the law and bla bla bla. One follower asked me to go in depth about the law when dealing with cops in the streets. I'm not going to go in depth, but rather I will show you a video that a friend of mine showed me about police. It's a really great guide to surviving police encounters. The video is longer than your usual youtube video, but I suggest you watch it. It will save your ass during police encounters.
PS. This is for Baddie :)

Cops Are NOT the Law!
Do be intimidated by their big black boots, or by their skin-tight uniforms, or their shiny guns. Cops are just people, like you and me, except with the ability to shoot their gun freely. They think they can do whatever they want, speeding through freeway traffic, and passing red lights with their loud sirens. They are NOT the law. It's time that people understand this and that people start to learn their rights.
Did you know that the cops can't search your house without a warrant? I hope you did, because a lot of people get scared when a cop comes knocking on their door asking if they can come in. Just say NO, NO Officer you CAN'T come in! It's your right! You don't have to let them in. My brother made the biggest mistake the other day when a couple of cops came to the house because of a disturbance call. My little brother, age 14, was intimidated by the cops and that fear caused him to allow the cops to search our house. Why did they need to search our house? There was no reason for that. But my brother, little and naive as he is, let them in. He didn't know that they needed a warrant to search the house. But once he said, yes, you may come in, they will come in. If you let them in, they will come in.
Makes me think what they're teaching kids in school today. My brother is 14 and he doesn't even know how the law works. If you live in the ghetto like me, then you should learn this stuff to protect yourself. You gotta know your rights. The law is limited. Don't let it take advantage of you. Learn your rights, learn their limits.
This was a free public service announcement. Thank you.

Who the Heck Invented PC4PC?
As I did my usual check-my-myspace routine, I noticed that I had friend requests that needed some attention. So I checked them, had a request from a band or two, and I also received a request from some random guy. Don't know who he is, never seen his face before, he's just some "myspace guy", you know the ones that look all gay and myspace-ish. So I looked at him for a few minutes trying to think who the hell he was. I had nothing. I checked his page to see if maybe I could find some more info, but nothing. He's just some random dude from some random band. As I went back to the request, I noticed that he sent a message along with the request. The message read, "Hey,Whats up? PC4PC? :)". I thought for a while, "what's pc4pc?", maybe it was some kind of gay myspace thing cus of the little smiley. By the way, when you're sending messages to guys, never put a smiley cus that's just gay. Anyways, so I looked it up and found out that pc4pc stands for picture comment 4 picture comment. I thought, "wow, people actually do this?" There's actually a website where you can get lots of other "myspacers" to pc4pc with you, it's weird. So then I went back to my friend request and I knew what the hell he wanted. He wants me to comment his pic. He wants a guy, to comment his pic. That's just too weird and gay for me, I'm sorry. I just can't help but wonder who freakin' invented pc4pc? You think it was Tom? I don't know. I still haven't approved the guy that wants to pc4pc with me. Haha that sounds kinda nasty. Should I approve him, or not?
PS. You wanna pc4pc with me? :)

Celebrating July 5th At Denny's
Just got back from Denny's like 20 minutes ago and it's too late to do anything else so I decided to blog about it. July 4th wasn't really cutting it for me so I decided that a couple of friends and I should go have a midnight dinner at Denny's. Got my brothers in the G, picked up Chris and Julianna and we were off. For some strange reason, I felt like just sitting down at a restaurant and having a good time with friends. Well of course, if you're with me, you'll always have a fun time, which is exactly what we did. We were having some good laughs talking about random stuff, like Julianna's huge boobs or like when Julianna used to sell hot Cheetos at Bravo and the Armenian's would buy from her. If you went to Bravo, I'm pretty sure you knew Julianna and you've probably bought some chips off of her, or maybe even a Monster.
After dinner, we went to 7-Eleven cus I had to buy some milk. As we parked in the lot, some bald cholo holding a six pack stared at us while throwing gang signs! We don't even look like cholos. There are a lot of stupid-ass people hanging out night. But then again, we were in East LA.
Check out this video of Julianna's attempt to impersonate an Armenian who would've bought chips from her back at Bravo.

Is Michael Jackson Really Dead?
Yesterday morning I received the news that Michael Jackson was dead. Everyone was texting me, "RIP Michael Jackson", "Michael Jackson was dead", as if I already didn't know myself. But then I thought to myself, "This can't be true, he can't be dead." It all seems so weird. How can this really famous guy die at the age of 50, from cardiac arrest? He can't! He probably faked it! Just think about it for a second; he lived a really miserable life. He was in $400million debt, had a lot of legal issues for touching little kids and nobody liked him.
You're probably saying to yourself, "wtf that's not true, everyone liked him", but that's wrong. Everyone liked his music. Everyone started hating him because of the alleged child harassment he was linked to. I'm not saying I hated him, I'm just saying that everyone, or a lot of people, hated him, and now that he's dead, everyone suddenly loves him again and wants him back. It's funny how when death is involved the circumstances change. Why not love someone and appreciate someone when they're alive? Now that he's gone, it's too late to love him. He's not gonna feel it. He's not gonna know. The only ones that are gonna know are those that watch the news and youtube, but Michael, the one that really matters, won't.
If Michael really did fake his death, where do you think he's hiding? Maybe on an island somewhere in the deep ocean, or in his underground home in the Neverland Ranch, or maybe he's brown again and he got another nose job and he's back in LA. Who knows. If you see him, I hope you have your camera cus everyone would like to see that, especially Youtube. But if Michael Jackson really died, then my prayers go to his family and friends.
Good-bye Michael Jackson, you will forever be missed.

Transformers!
I'm sure you've heard of the highly anticipated release of the Transformers sequel that released on June 24. Being a fan and all, I bought some tickets and a bunch of my friends and I went to go see it at midnight. The lines were huge but since we're bad people we just cut to the front of the line. The movie was also very long, almost 3 hours, but it was worth it.
After the movie, we were so pumped that we decided to go to 7-Eleven and we bought some Red Bulls. There's not much you can do at 3 am on a Wednesday night, so we went to Carl's Jr. to get some burgers and then we headed to the park. We did some skating 'til around 4:30 which is when I had to take the party poopers home.
After that I was still pumped so we decided to go back to the skate park at 5 am. We skated for a few hours until we got hungry and decided to go to Yoshinoya. That beef bowl with extra juice was the worse beef bowl I have ever ate! I don't think anything tastes well when you haven't slept. Besides the food being so bad, there was this weird gay employee that kept staring at me. He even gave me coupons. What a sweetheart.
After Yoshinoya, we went to Target cus Chino had to buy something. Then we went to another park and did some more skating until we decided to call it quits. We couldn't take it anymore. We hadn't slept in over 24 hours, we were tired, and we needed sleep. Once I dropped everyone off, I went home, took a nice warm shower, and just crashed. Sleep had never felt so good.
Although I felt like crap sometimes, not sleeping for 24 hours wasn't that bad. We did a lot during the night and the morning and I wouldn't mind doing it again. Actually, I recommend not sleeping for over 24 hours. If you want, you should not sleep for over 24 hours with me! I guarantee to you will have a lot of fun! Just hit me up and we can get crazy!

It's Almost Been A Week
Ever since school has ended, it's been non-stop fun for me. Last week alone was just really packed with good stuff. I'll start with Thursday. Thursday was gradnite at Disneyland and I have to say that it was really, really, really crazy! It was like a really big party at Disneyland, no joke. The second I walked in I could hear that ghetto booty-shaking music that they play at school dances, and everyone was dressed up and then everyone is staring at you from the sidelines just like at a dance. As soon as I heard the music, I thought, this is gonna be a crazy night. I knew it would be crazy so I planned ahead and took two Red Bulls, one before I boarded the bus and the other before I entered the park. The guy at the gate didn't let me in with the drink so he let me chug it before entering. He even laughed when I spilled a little bit on my shirt. Anyways, when I entered the park there were just people everywhere. Everyone was touching everyone else. When I looked through the program that I picked up while entering the park, I noticed that there were a bunch of little dance clubs scattered around the park. Power 106, KIIS FM along with various other stations were there. Once I saw that there was a techno, I convinced my friends for us to go there. That club was tight! That was probably the best part about gradnite. Yea the rides were fun too, but at gradnite I just wanted to party, and I did. If you haven't gone to gradnite yet, when you go you have to go to the techno club. It's the best. And if you're not planning on going then you should change your mind cus it's really fun. Party all night! Seriously, that whole night I never stopped moving. Whether I was waiting in line for a ride, or dancing or whatever, I was always moving and always doing something. I can't believe I lasted that long. It was crazy. I even managed to go to IHOP in the morning. But as I headed back home later on that morning, I was getting really sleepy. I'm lucky I even made it home, it's as if I was driving without knowing that I was driving. But once I made it I just knocked out and didn't wake up 'til like 5 pm that day. Good times.
The remainder of the week was also pretty cool. On Saturday, a couple of friends and I went to check out the enchanted forest in Pasadena. We were really curious to find out if all of those stories were true, so we got a camera and a flashlight and we were on our way. Once I saw that scary looking gate, I had a feeling something creepy was gonna happen. I could tell that everyone was scared. Every little thing they heard scared them. They even started imagining things that were there, like white things on the mountains, probably cus of the supposed KKK gatherings. So we were there and there were other people too. The place is dark, but not as dark as I thought it would be. There are many trails to take so we randomly picked the one that has a sign that says "Trail". Slowly, we walked up as a group. As always, the girls were scared and held one of the guys' arms for comfort. As we walked up, I was expecting for some ghost to come out, maybe even a KKK guy, but we found nothing. All we found was this water reservoir and a nice view of Pasadena. Even though we didn't find anything, it was still pretty scary. You can just feel a scary presence the second you walk in there. When we returned, we noticed that there was another trail leading to a darker route. Maybe that's the one that leads to the KKK. We're gonna try to go this week and see if we can get more scared this time. If you wanna come just hit me up and you can be part of my blog ;).
Gradnite and the enchanted forest were fun, but to top it off, I also went to six flags on Sunday for my momma's birthday. Happy Birthday to Mom! Since it was Sunday, there wasn't as many people as there usually would be on a Saturday. My mom was also being a baller so she wanted to buy everything. She bought valet parking and even one of those fancy Flash Passes. That thing was freakin tight. We were able to get on all of the rides without waiting in line. I would just reserve a ride and in 10 minutes we would be able to ride. If you ever go to Six Flags soon I would recommend you buy one those passes. It's worth it. You should also ride on X2 and The Terminator. Those rides are crazy as hell. Freakin X2 is fast and crazy, they got music and it even shoots out fire, and The Terminator is the fastest ride in the park. You gotta check those rides out.
After all of that fun came the serious stuff: Graduation. Well, it's not that serious but I guess it's there. I can finally say that I am an official Monrovia High School Alumni. That sounds very prestigious. I wasn't too excited for graduation though. During the entire ceremony I was really bored and I just wanted to eat. But once it was my turn to walk up there and receive the case for my diploma(we had to pick up the real thing the following day), I was actually getting a littler nervous. I thought, this is really happening, I'm about to graduate from high school. I was happy because I didn't have to go to school anymore and sit in boring classes and do work, even though I was always absent, but I was also a little sad because it was over. I'm gonna miss it. Congratulations to the Class of 2009!

Last Day Of School?
You know what I hate the most about the last day of school, is signing yearbooks. Yeah, you know you hate it too. As soon as I got to school everyone kept telling me, "Josan, sign my yearbook", and there I was signing people's yearbooks. Don't you also hate it when people just write "Have a great summer" -Jessica. Not only is it gay, but why didn't you at least bother to include your last name? You know how many friends I have named Jessica? That's why when I sign yearbooks I go all out. I just let all of my feelings come out during those 5 minutes and I say what I have to say, and what I say is good. Not only is my content great, but I also include my last name, even though I'm the only Josan in the school. The sad part is, I didn't even buy a yearbook this year cus I'm too poor :(
Anyways, yesterday was senior check-out at Monrovia High. If you don't know what that is, it's the day that seniors check out of school, and if your school doesn't have that then that sucks to be you. What sucks though is that I still haven't checked out.
I went to the school library today to return my textbooks so I can check out and then the lady charged me $3.50 for damages. What kind of bs is that? She even looked at me with her little smile and said, "You already know what you have to do, right?"
And I looked at her and said, "No, what?"
Then she said, "You have to pay $3.50 to cover for damages. These books were brand new out of the box."
As she was telling me that I was thinking, wow, she's really gonna charge me three bucks for some stupid book? I was getting mad. I didn't have cash on me so I went to the little gas station at the corner to withdraw some. I come back to the library and it's closed. Wtf, I told her I was comin' back to pay the fees. Then some teacher goes into the library with her special key and I sneak in behind her. As I'm waiting for Tina(the librarian), the other lady comes, you know the short blond one, Tina's best friend, comes and then looks at me with a weird look and asks, "How did you get in here?" I told her a teacher let me in. She was confused for a bit and then she told me I had to wait for Tina outside. Why couldn't she just charge me three bucks? As I walked outside I thought, what a bitch. I was already pissed.
If I would've known that we had to come back on Thursday for graduation practice I wouldn't have even gone today. Just making me waste my money on the bus for nothing. I didn't even get to check out today!
Even though I haven't checked out, it still feels the same. I was never in school to begin with, and now that I don't have to go I still end up going. I think the universe is getting back at me for never being at school. Stupid universe.
Even though I was only at Monrovia for a little over a year, I have to say that I'm actually gonna miss it, maybe. I'll miss my friends, and the good times, and maybe some of the teachers, like Ms. Chang :), but another side of me is happy that I don't have to go to high school anymore. It was such a waste of time. Hopefully I can check out tomorrow and get done with all of this. Actually, it won't be over 'til graduation. Good-bye Monrovia.

Nike Air Yeezy Camp-Out
You're probably not cool enough to know what the Yeezys are, but since you read the Nike in the title you probably know that it's a shoe. Well you're right. It is a shoe, but not just any shoe. It's Kanye West's shoe, man! These things are so sexy and so exclusive that my homies and I had to camp out a whole week for them! Yea I know we're crazy, it's just a shoe, blah blah blah I know, but it was pretty fun. If you still wondering how the Yeezys look click here for a pic.
Okay so the homies and I went on Sunday May 31st to Nike Sportswear in Hollywood on Vine St and Selma. We had to sign up on a list in order to wait for them. We were in the 30's and there was speculation of about 50 shoes being released in that store, so we felt like we were getting these. The way this works was we had to come every day to get called during roll-call, sort of like school attendance except we were actually getting something good in return (it's not like America's education is good anyway).
The past week was a week like no other. I don't think I've ever endured so much pain and suffering as I did this past week. I had no car, no money for the bus and no money for food. I felt really ghetto. How was I supposed to get there? I did a little snooping around the house and managed to find some change to get a bus ride to union station. I only had enough for the bus and luckily some weird black guy gave me his ticket. God Bless that man! So I got to Hollywood but I didn't even have money for food. That was day 1.
Day 2 was even worse. This day there was no more money lying around the house. I searched everywhere. I had no way to get there except for my skateboard, 'til I remembered that I left my board in Chris' car. Htf(how the F@#$!) was I supposed to get there? So I walk outside and there's my mom's bike! I thought, whatever thug life and I took the bike. I biked all the way to Union Station from my house! I should probably show a map of my bike route to show how far it is. Well, it's not that far, but I still biked it there. It was pretty sick though.
By the time the third day came I felt like this was never gonna end. I was starving myself over a pair of shoes. All of my savings were going into that. I couldn't even afford a bus ride. But once the third day passed everything got easier for me, except for Thursday which is the only day I went to school to make up my freakin AP Calculus test. I literally skated from my house, which is in El Sereno, through South Pasadena to Alhambra just so I can find an ATM machine that would work! It sucks not having a car. Then when I got to school, which is in Monrovia by the way, I had to take the Gold Line all the way back to LA, and then take the red line to Hollywood. I was bustin' missions that day.
Then comes Friday, the craziest day of the week. Friday was chill until something happened that I don't want to talk about. Even though that happened it was still kinda cool hanging out with Dori in the streets of Hollywood. That night is such a blur it's weird.
Then comes the day we've all been waiting for: Judgement Day. Would we get the shoes, or will we not get the shoes? Would waiting in line for countless hours finally pay off? Well, it turns out that there were only 17 pairs, and supposedly the other 20 shoes were "stolen". What BS! We were there every day of the week, starving ourselves with no money and we didn't even get the shoes! That's just BS! The nigga Chris was about to jump someone.
Although we didn't get the shoes, I still had a cool experience. It was pretty fun chillin with the homies while at the same time skating. We had a lot of good laughs and we met a lot of great people. It might have been the worse week of my life, but it was good and I think it made me stronger. I also learned a lesson: never camp out unless you're in the top 15, always!
